How Do I Connect?

Known to some as Sunday school, Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) classes meet at 8:15 am and 9:30 am on Sundays. These classes meet for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. We have over ? ABF classes from which you can choose. We have classes for couples, men, women, singles, and college students. Small Groups are another option for connecting. These groups meet throughout the week in members’ homes for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Click here for ABF (link to ABF)

What Should I Wear?

We encourage you to come as you are. God sees our heart and that’s what He cares about; it’s not about the style of clothing we choose. Just so you’ll know, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don’t be surprised if you see a few suits and ties, as well as many people wearing jeans.

Where Do I Park?

If you are a guest to our church, we invite you to use the guest spaces. These spaces are located in the front lot. Simply turn on your car lights when you enter the parking lot, and our parking attendants will direct you to a space. Click here for directions to First North. (link to directions/map)

How Do I Join First North?

When you feel you are ready to become a member of the church family at First Baptist North Spartanburg, we want to celebrate that decision with you. In fact, so does Jesus Christ! He wants you to let others know when you make that decision. That’s why He calls you to make the decision to be a part of His kingdom a public one. He wants you to make a public profession of your faith.

At First Baptist North Spartanburg, walking down to the front of the church and expressing your desire to join to any of the ministers that are there is how you make the profession a public one. You are then paired with a Decision Counselor who will take you to a quiet room and explain the membership process to you and get some information from you. If you like, someone can contact you ahead of time and get this information in advance. You will still need to come forward and go back to the counseling room to get your picture made.
