One of the core values of our church is growing our faith in Jesus. We simply believe we should not be the same person tomorrow we are today. There are many ways to grow, but none can compete with time in God’s Word.
One of our tools for this can be found on the Bible Reading Plans with Bible.com and the YouVersion Bible App. This allows you to join others in our church as we read the same scripture each day and share what we are learning from God’s Word. It’s easy to join us and it’s open to everyone. Here’s what you need to do:
Participants need an account with Bible.com before they can participate. You can create your account at Bible.com or on the app once you download it to your mobile device.
- Create an account on Bible.com (laptop or desktop) or on the YouVersion mobile app (smartphone or tablet).
- Return here and (fill out the appropriate form below) or (choose “Men’s Plans” or “Women’s Plans”). When you click “REGISTER,” you will receive the list of plans for the current schedule. Click the plans you want to join. You will be added to that plan. Each plan has a preset start date. Once you’re on the list, we will email the links for future plans.
- When it’s time to begin a plan, log-in or open the app on the start date and begin. Each plan has a devotion to read, scripture to read and a place to share what made an impression. Your content does not need to be long, but adding something will help you think about and engage more with what you are learning. This is also a great place to leave prayer requests.
