Community Groups (discipleship groups) are small groups for students in 6th –12th grade. These groups are made up of 10-12 students who meet weekly with 2-3 adult leaders and are broken up by grade and gender. Community Groups are a perfect place for you to form great friendships with other students your age, build relationships with leaders, and develop an authentic relationship with God. Your group members will be encouraged to establish accountability with each other, have consistent personal quiet times, get involved in ministry, and participate in fun activities.
What does a typical Community Group night look like?
Each group will look different, but a typical night will look something like this: hangout time, Bible study, discussion, and prayer.
What about my leader?
The Student Ministry has incredible, screened, and trained leaders who are ready to serve and teach junior high and high school students. Our leaders are there to encourage, teach, guide, and help strengthen your walk with Christ. It may turn out to be the most significant relationship of your junior high and high school years.
Where do we meet?
Some groups will meet in host homes throughout our community and some groups will meet at The Rock student center. (See the list of group locations here.)
Times and dates?
Community Groups meet 5:45 – 7:30pm on Sunday evenings.
How do I get involved?
Sign up online now at firstnorth.org, in the student ministry office on Sunday mornings and during the week, or at Revive on Wednesday nights.
