The Passion Experience is a hands-on, interactive journey designed for all ages—preschool to adults—to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Inspired by early believers who created trails to remember the events of Passion Week, this experience invites you to engage with the story in a meaningful way.

Walk through eight stations featuring items connected to Jesus’ betrayal, trial, and crucifixion. Touch, pick up, and even smell these objects as you step into key moments of the Passion story. Sit in the Garden of Gethsemane and sense the weight of Jesus’ anguish. Hold the crown of thorns and nails, imagining the depth of His suffering. Experience the Last Supper and its powerful foreshadowing of the cross.

A narrated audio guide and printed reflections will help you connect each element to the significance of Good Friday—and how its truth still transforms lives today.

This isn’t a traditional Stations of the Cross, but a fresh approach to an ancient practice—an opportunity to slow down, engage your senses, and prepare your heart for Easter.

FAQs

The Passion Experience is unlike anything we have done before. It is not a drama or performance. It is a self-guided tour through the “Stations of the Cross.”

These are eight exhibits, each representing an aspect of Jesus’ final week leading up to his crucifixion. You will be given a guide book which will describe the items at each station, explain their significance and encourage you to reflect on their meaning. The exhibits are designed to be interactive and you are encouraged not only to observe the items but to touch them, hold them, smell them and experience them for yourself.

That is up to you. The Passion Experience is a self-paced, self-guided tour. You are encouraged to take as long as you like at each station.

The Passion Experience will be open:

  • Wednesday, April 16 from 5pm-8pm
  • Thursday, April 17 from 5pm-8pm (The last tour will be admitted at 7:45pm)
  • Friday, April 18 from 11am-8pm (The last tour will be admitted at 7:45pm)
  • Saturday, April 19 from 11am-2pm (The last tour will be admitted at 1:45pm)

Since it is entirely self-paced, you can arrive at any time during these hours.

Yes, we encourage children to participate, as well. We have a separate guide book designed specifically for elementary aged kids. Younger children will most likely need more guidance from you, as a parent.

The Passion Experience is completely free!
