Are you looking to deepen your relationship with God and gain a better understanding of His Word? The Bible Recap 365 Chronological Bible-in-a-Year Plan reading plan is the perfect way to do just that!

With this plan, you’ll receive a daily dose of scripture that has been carefully curated to take you on a journey through the entire Bible.

This plan will help you to build a daily habit of reading and studying God’s Word. As you spend time in the Bible each day, you’ll grow in your knowledge and understanding of God, and you’ll be able to apply what you learn to your daily life.

As we prepare to begin The Bible Recap 365 Chronological Bible-in-a-Year Plan together on January 1st, we want to help you get set up—step by step.
Whether you’re tech-savvy or this feels brand new, don’t worry. We’ll walk through everything slowly and clearly. And remember—you can follow this plan in whatever way works best for you.

HOW TO START

STEP 1
Decide what works best for you! Choose the way you want to walk through our Bible reading plan and recap together. You can use digital tools, printed materials, or even mix the two—whatever fits your style.

Option A – Digital Users

Download the Bible App (free) and search in plans for access to The Bible Recap 365-day reading plan.
  1. At the bottom of your screen, tap Plans.
  2. At the top, tap the Search bar.
  3. Type: “Bible Recap 365 Chronological.”
You should see a plan with that title, usually showing a blue or teal cover.

Tap the plan, then tap Start Plan.

You can choose to start it by yourself, or with Friends—and we’ll talk about inviting friends next.

A Weekly Environment

God created us to live and thrive in a community. While we can surely grow our faith as individuals, gathering with other Christians around the study of Scripture can serve as an accelerator for growing and living out our Christian faith. We will have Reading Plans available at the Welcome Center in the Foyer on Sunday mornings or at the church office during the week.

If you’ve fallen behind, don’t worry. Just pick up with the current day’s reading. If you like, you can use the weekend to catch up.

Use whichever translation you like. If you choose to use the Bible reading plan on our app, be aware that it uses the English Standard Version.

We encourage you to use the SOAP Method. The acronym SOAP stands for scripture, observation, application, and prayer. Each of these four steps creates an atmosphere for hearing God speak.
